Boaventura de Sousa Santos, Portugal. Professor, Faculty of Economics, University of Coimbra; Faculty of Law of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Warwick. Director of the Center for Social Studies at the University of Coimbra; scientific coordinator of the Permanent Observatory for Portuguese Justice. Currently he heads the research project ALICE – Strange Mirrors, Unexpected Lessons.
Gladys Tzul Tzul, Guatemala. Doctoral candidate in sociology from the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Autonomous University of Puebla, Mexico, and member of the community of Mayas, Guatemala Studies. She is the founder of the Collective of indigenous photographers “With Own Voice” and participates in the K’astajinem group that is responsible for organizing the commemoration of the slaughter of October 4 in Totonicapan.
Rosalva Aida Hernandez, Mexico. PhD in anthropology from Stanford University. Lecturer and researcher at the CIESAS, Center for Research and Advanced Studies in Social Anthropology in Mexico City.
