Masters of the World is an initiative of the ALICE project that aims to recover the testimonies of activists, academia, intellectuals, artists and writers who became prominent in the struggle against various forms of colonial, imperial and sexual oppression and domination, and identified possible ways to equality, inclusion and social emancipation. Voices from the Global South who often stood on the banks of the canons and institutional consecrations and, by their example, are obligatory references in considering an alternative and fair world, respectful of differences and values of nature, well-being and good living.
