Nº 1(March, 2014) - Learning from the South del Sur. Boaventura de Sousa Santos´ thinking in paradigmatic transition

Author: Eva Garcia Chueca
This article is a work of reflection on Boaventura de Sousa Santos´thinking. In particular, based on the reading of some of his key texts and prepared in the light of the research project “ALICE - Strange Mirrors, Unsuspected Lessons: Leading Europe to a new way of sharing the world experiences”. The aim of the paper is a holistic analysis of  Santos´most important theoretical proposals  in order to understand more fully ALICE’s rationale and potential, and to develop hermeneutical and analytical tools necessary to fully support its implementation.
